I am new pats fan, but it seems to me that one of the edges the patriots had when they one all those superbowls is that everyone was not giving them enough respect and they were using this to there advantage (ie having a chip on there shoulder).
Alot of people said that this year they couldn't use that because everyone knows they are one of the best teams in the NFL and respects them. So what do all these teams,fans and reporters do now that they know the Pats are good and can no longer use the no respect card to give themselves a little bit more motivation...........?????
They just trash talk, take cheap shots and make the players want to prove even more how good they are. I don't think they realize how much better this is going to make this team play. I know the players say there are not thinking about it, but in the locker room they are using it.
