It wasn't the weather Sunday. It was whether the New England Patriots would win by 16 or 36.

The Patriots thrashed and trashed the Broncos, for crying out loud.

Go, Colts, Pack and Bolts!

The Broncos are crying out loud for their help.

The Broncos don't want to come back to New England . . . ever. But they definitely don't want to return in January, 2015, in the playoffs.

For all the debate of Manning's arm strength, when he steps into a throw and puts the football on the arc of an arrow, there's no quarterback who takes better dead aim. It's when Manning must float a pass in the seam where the after-effects of his four neck surgeries sometimes show weakness.

Yeah, the Broncos need home field that's for sure. I can see the Pats winning in Mile High (would probably be a coin toss unlike last year), but the Broncos in Foxborough? Seems highly unlikely at this point, of course a lot can happen until then in the NFL.

Manning's accuracy has always been overrated, its good but not great. What he does have, is absolutely impeccable timing, eg he throws to a spot better than anyone alive or dead. Hoever he doesn't read and react and then throw with anywhere near the accuracy of Brees/Rogers or Brady. That's why if you bump his receivers off their routes and then make him improvise, then all of a sudden you see a very human qb.

Couple that with bad weather, where receivers don't have oodles of space to work with, and then his arm strength gets exposed as well.

It's the story of his career. Once you take away the perfect dome conditions, and where his receivers don't vastly overtalent the dbs they're up against, forcing him to make tight throws (like in eg the playoffs) you see his confidence start to shake a bit and he eventually coughs it up.

"Forgettable"? I thought it was superb.

Whether we play Denver over there or in foxboro, I just hope we are at least as healthy as we are now. Because if we are and gronk is good, then we are in great shape to sweep them.
