Flores requested to interview for Niners DC position

Just as the the title states Kyle Shanahan wants to talk to Flores about heading out west for a Coordinator position with the niners.
Word is on the messageboard Kyle may have 2 coaches with the title of DC.
Is this possible and could the Patriots or would they want to block Flores from leaving.
Whats interesting was if Patricia got a HC job he was thought to be the next in line to replace Matt.

I am surprised that this thread is so empty because this is actually a big deal.

Like you said Flores is next in line to become DC here so him leaving could create a small vacuum in the hierarchy if Patricia gets a good offer next offseason. On the same note if he leaves I wouldn't be surprised if BB leaves the position technically open for a year and promotes Steve Belichick in a year or so to LB coach. It would most probably be too early to do it this offseason after only one year running the safeties.
