This week's battle against the 49ers seemed like just the natch-up to allow them to take a step forward after the giant step back they took last weekend and there were some definite bright spots that occurred as the Patriots improved to 8-2 on the season

Can't add much to that list from the game itself, but here are two other things that I learned yesterday from watching Seattle dismantle a pretty good Eagles team after flying back and forth cross country the week before:

1) The Pats played and lost to a much better team last week than many of us (including the Pats?) had thought they would be playing.

2) They have to step it up if they want to make the kind of noise in January that we all hope they will make.
 
nice to see Ryan play better. Butler is still our defensive MVP

for me the big weapon out there was Dion Lewis. White has been great, but Lewis is a more dangerous rushing threat and in tight coverage he has the ability to make a player miss more so than White. He's our difference maker on offense
