Most fans here love Charlie and Romeo. Eric? Nah...

If Romeo gets fired I would hire him in a millesecond as some kind of defensive assistant if it were possible as I don't know what the max is on coaches allowed on one team.

FYI-all 10 of the Browns wins last year were against the crummy teams.(and they DID lose to Cincy toward the end)

Pt being that this schedule they had last year only made Derek Anderson look alot better than he really was. This year-he's getting exposed in a big way.

And worst of all, the Browns are becoming the AFC's version of the Redskins. They think building a championship means trading away your future(i.e. lots of draft picks-they didn't even have a 1st day pick this year) for former Pro Bowlers/risky players. Their '09 draft looks pretty thin too.

The Browns didn't have 6 easy wins like the Pats had last year - Playing the Steelers and Ravens twice in one season is not so easy so give them a little credit for hanging around the playoff picture last year.

I'd love to have Romero back, we haven't won a Super Bowl since he and Charlie left.

I agree. Night Of The Living Dead is a great flick.

I think Belichick would take Romeo back in a second. I have never seen Belichick spend so much time with the defense while the offense is on the field as I have in the last two years. I don't think he has the confidence in Pees making the in game adjustments as he did with Romeo or as he has with McDaniels.

The thing is will Romeo want to come back? If he has dreams of getting another head coaching job, coming back to the Pats may not be the best move for him. He might get labelled as a system guy who is a beneficiary of Belichick's success. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in Miami or with the Jets if Mangini survives this year.

I'd love to see Romeo come back as our DC. I don't have much confidence in Pees. I bet Romeo would love to come back as our DC when ( not if ) he gets fired if he is realistic about his prospects.

RC is not cut out for head coaching duties, his clock managment & decision making in that Pitt game was an embarrassment. Who the hell kicks a field goal on 4 & 7 on the 20 down by 7 with 3 minutes left???

As usual, you are wrong.

Right, their only win vs. a team over .500 last year was a home overtime win vs. Seattle (still a solid win). Every other win was against a team below .500.

The real mystery is why they didn't trade Derek Anderson for the #1 and #3 they were offered - now they're talking about benching him after 3 games and probably couldn't even get a #3 for him.

So what you are saying is playing the Steelers,Bengals and Ravens twice in a year is much easier than facing the Jets,Dolphins and Bills twice? (in the 2007 season) if you believe that you have no football knowledge whatsoever.

No - I didn't say their losses were bad, I said their wins were. They were all against teams under .500 except one.

The Patriots beat Pittsburgh. The Browns lost to them twice. As they did to every other over .500 team except one. They were way overrated coming into the year because they had proven nothing except that they could beat bad to mediocre teams.

It's funny. good players can make coaches look really good. Especially a quarterback. Last year D.Anderson was amazing and Crennel looked great. Now, he sucks, and Crennel looks like an idiot.

well people have talked about the tainted of bradys legacy if this team makes the super bowl.....if Eric Romeo and Charlie all get canned after this year and if BB has a .500 season does that make Bradys legacy LARGER?

Eh......

think about it you haters
