No, there was a great deal of difference. Crable couldn't stay on the field because he was always injured. Bequette can't get on the field because he isn't good enough to be on the 53.

You don't know why he said "enough" but his track record is pretty good. Having said that, the mystery of place holder Bequette might never be revealed.
