Every Tom Brady Touchdown in the postseason 2001-2021

I actually remember in detail many of these games

Thanks for posting! What a pick me up today. Just some thoughts:

  • My favorite TDs: deep bomb to Branch in 2004 AFCCG and game winner to LaFell in 2014 AFCDG.
  • Gronkowski is clearly the best receiving tight end ever, not just the best dual threat tight end ever...so many ridiculous touchdown catches there. Hard to overstate how dominant he was and wonder how many they’d have won if he were healthy in the postseason in 2011, 2012, and 2013. I think they’d have one more ring, minimum.
  • Kind of cool to watch the progression of “the number 3” guy in their offense starting in 2010 going from Branch to Lloyd to LaFell to Hogan.
  • Amendola was involved in so many key plays...maybe the most underrated player of the dynasty. He played like a superstar in the biggest moments.

It’s so hard to pick a favorite. For me I think it’s between

LaFell: 2014 AFC Divisional
LaFell: 2014 Super Bowl
Gronkowski: 2014 Super Bowl
Amendola: 2014 Super Bowl
Edelman: 2014 Super Bowl

Patriots-Seahawks Super Bowl is my favorite game of all time and I consider it the greatest NFL game ever played.

Super bowl 51 was the best followed closely by super bowl 49. in 49 I thought we had gotten screwed again by a great catch. in 51 I thought we were done at halftime, the second half was literally flawless football, everything had to go right and then some and it happened

This is splitting hairs, but I think Super Bowl 49 was a better game to watch, start to finish, than 51. It was always competitive down to the final seconds, both teams played great and had big plays on both offense and defense, the Seahawks were a team of swaggering trash talker bullies you loved to hate, it was the Thrilla in Manilla of football.

Plus you can't overlook that the Seahawks were the defending Super Bowl champs who had HUMILIATED Peyton Manning at the end of his greatest individual season the year before. For Brady to turn around and beat them the very next year was a pure delight.

Super Bowl 51 was just this impossible amazing insane THING that somehow happened anyway. As an accomplishment the 28-3 comeback has no equals, but as a game it was 2.5 quarters of getting crushed by the Falcons, 1.5 quarters of madness and an overtime cakewalk. Once the Patriots won the coin toss a billion people went "Well, the Falcons are dead" all at once, including everyone on the Falcons. Plus really, who gives a crap about the Falcons themselves?

He was at 73 last post-season and I remember thinking I want him to get 7 TDs to get to 80. What a fantastic number and of course he got to 83! LOL
