Well, until he's actually signed, there's always hope.

OTOH, it's interesting to note that we've heard essentially NOTHING about Edelman and Vollmer, and not much about Talib.

I hadn't even taken notice of this but you are correct. Vollmer, Talib and JE have had very few mentions in the rumor mill. What that means I don't know but it suggests they are in negotiations/focused on one team (or it means nothing ).

Hope he stays, he's a great PR and brings a certain chippiness to a team that often needs it.

If he agrees to a cheap deal, I don't see why the Pats wouldn't take him. He's a good punt returner as well as a decent playmaking WR when healthy.

He is most valuable as a PR and Pats have new options there. Someone like Sanders would be a better bet at WR, making JE expendable.
