Doesn’t look terribly damning overall though. You’re sacrificing 1 yard on average (24.1 versus 25 yards) and adding a 1% risk of a turnover for a 10% chance of starting at the 35 or beyond. I assume the median is lower than 24.1 (I didn’t see that listed). I wouldn’t do it all the time, but under certain conditions it seems worth the risk (down a lot early and need a spark, late in the half or 4th quarter and need to score points).

Not surprising in the least.

That being said, the Jets KR deserved his pro bowl nod based on the data.
