Kevin Lerner, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports it appears the Miami Dolphins are out of the running for free agent WR David Givens (Patriots). Considered one of the top wide receivers on the free-agent market, Givens reportedly is seeking a five-year deal in the $25 million range, a demand the Dolphins aren't expected to meet.

5 yrs, $25M? He hasn't had a year worth that yet. Hell, he can't even stay healthy a whole year.

Thats great news. I've already said my farewells to DG, but the thought of him, or any ex Pat playing for a rival.....
Glad it wont happen.
