I never claimed to know more than they did, I just can't be upset about giving up 20 points to a team that averaged 32 over the last 8 games, and also stopping the 2-headed monster in MJD/Taylor. Sure the secondary was spotty at times, but you can't really expect to contain a great running game and a passing game for a full 60 minutes.

Oh well, as you said, you're entitled to your opinion as am I.

I hear ya, man. It's all good. I just hope the secondary shows up next week.

The Pats' offense whupped the Jags' defense. The Jags' offense whupped the Pats' defense. Fortunately, the whupping our guys laid on was much more thorough than the whupping their guys laid on.

The difference was basically the first-half fumble and the usual fourth-quarter defensive stiffening (which I think stems both from true improved play/adjustments and the benefits of playing from ahead).
