Did Oakland almost screw up the trade with the Patriots that brought us Gronk?

If it was Minnesota, you're making my arguement for me.At #30,all Josh had to do is deal with NJ at #29 0r the Pats.If you're saying Arizona picking #26 was the other team, then maybe you have a point. However,no one I heard repeated that the Cardinals might jump for Tebow in the 1st rd.

Not with the DT Dan Williams dropped into their lap,imo

Not making your point about it, just pointing out coincidence of them moving back and being a team that was claimed to have wanted him there...Arizona from what I've seen isn't one of the teams reported to be interested in him, five of the next 18 picks were: Buffalo, Cleveland, Oakland, Redskins, and the Vikings

One of the stations did a tour of a war room. During that tour, I saw a telephone that had what looked like a dedicated line (marked with team emblem) for every other team in the league. There was a separate phone to call the league.

Can you picture what the ramifications would be if somebody hacked one of those phones and pretended to be another team...I'm assuming that there are safeguards in place (Passwords or something to that effect) to prevent it but you never know........

i have been watching the draft since 1982 and every time it is the pats turn to pick, they go to commercial break. they talk about the previous pick before the break and they talk about the next pick after the break. it's uncanny. every year for 28 years.

I've noticed this, too, though over fewer years. They know the sports-happy Boston market is watching, and stuck watching their commercials.

???
You do know that Baltimore is larger than Boston, and that the area round Baltimore is also larger (and includes Washingotn DC)?

As far as saying that Commissioner is out to get them, our fans have been known to express similar sentiments for years.

That's what lots of smaller and insignificant regional bodies are like aren't they. The world is out to get me. I just know it. I do. That big bad NFL commissioner is out to get me and my Ravens.

I'm sorry but DC isn't Baltimore. Heck, even Baltimore has a ton of Skins fans and I occasionally even see guys with Polamalu jerseys here and there. So once you take DC out, Baltimore-Towson has 2,690,886 people according to Wikipedia (Table of United States Metropolitan Statistical Areas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) and Boston has 4,588,680. Plus basically all of New England except for part of Connecticut is Patriots territory.

I grew up in Boston but I've been going to college in Baltimore for the last couple of years, and Baltimore is definitely not on the same level as Boston, not even close. At least compared to the Pats, the Ravens ARE a small market team and yes, their fans really have an inferiority complex.
