Dice-K needs a rest..

I can't imagine they let him pitch against NYY his next turn out, but who knows. Hopefully the FO thinks the same and gives him rest.

And Buchholz won't be starting again this year. Hes already near his innings limit, and they don't want to overwork his arm.

I completely agree he seriously needs a rest, and you can understand this considering he is used 2 pitching every week. I say you let someone like Devern Hansack start, and bring Dice-K back in time for the playoffs

Yeah he might need a rest, but what he is showing on the mound is showing otherwise. Rest has nothing to do with control. Control is his problem like it has been. If he needed rest he wouldn't be throwing his fastball in the 90's still. The bottom line is that he just isn't that good. Like i said a million times on this board. If you watched the game on ESPN last night Baker and Co. were saying stuff about Dice k that i was saying months ago. I knew he was going to fall aparrt after the all star break. It was obvious to me, but if you're a Sox fan you have a bad habit of ignoring facts. How many batters has Dice K hit this year? Did he break that consecutive games wtih batter being hit by pitch yet?

Yeah you're totally right. You know more than the entire Red Sox FO, and pretty much every scout that has ever looked at him. Not to mention the Mets FO, the Yankees FO and every other team that bid a great deal of money to get the guy. You're clearly the Bill Belichick of baseball.
