Dez Bryant?

There's been a lot of talk of Dez on the Ringer NFL Podcast w/ Mike Lombardi. Lombardi is pretty clear that Dez does not show any kind of ability to separate at the top of his route. He's talked about it over the course of many episodes.

So, no thanks. I'd rather develop a young project than rehab an older one who hasn't shown much over the course of a few seasons.

Agreed.

Consider that Gordon only had 335 receiving yards in 2017 and he missed the entire year of 2015. He hasn't been great in a long time. 5 years ago was his only season over 1k yards.

Gordon is also probably one more suspension away from missing another entire year. And this is his last year under contract so he will be looking to get 'PAID' next year.

Not someone you give up a lot of draft capital for. A 6th or 7th rounder is probably not enough to entice Cleveland either.

When Dez Bryant learns to run routes and play within a team system, maybe we'd consider him, but until then...
