saw this today and in retrospect the similaries between our 2nd SB win and today is incredibly close...
Look at similarities entering SB 38 and entering SB 51 so far....
1- Record is 16-2 - both seasons
2 -SB Site is in Houston - same as this year
3 - Last game in which the Patriots trailed was in week 12 - both seasons
4 - Points Allowed Ranking - 1st in both seasons
5 - 1st loss was in a shutout to Buffalo - both seasons
6 - Previous SB win was 2 years prior - both seasons
7 - The Opponent in both seasons was from the NFC South and both opponents had a 11-5 record in the regular season
I dont know about you guys,but these 7 eerie similarities is downright amazing!
Hopefully we add an 8th comparison to this list and that would be a SB victory tonight!
