This defense (if it can stay healthy) may be the best core of D we have had since Andre Tippett,Garin Veris (Garin is one of my all time favorite players) and Company were playing-at this point I would rank it better than 2003-2004 overall so far - We have yet to give up more than 17 points in a game...I believe only Denver can brag about that as well - If we continue to keep this pace going on giving up less than 17,I can only see us losing 1 more game down the road till the playoffs begin....

Actually Denver gave up 18 to the Rams week 1, only the Pats have not given up more than 17 in one game. Of course, the Broncos have a better overall D right now, the Pats 12 pts/game allowed on D aint too shabby.

Denver's Defense hasn't exactly been challenged either.

The next few weeks will be the true test of Denver's defense. Starting next week against the Colts.
