Oh well. Can't blame a guy for taking the contract when he drew that much interest. I was wrong about that, he was on the radar of a lot of teams. Who knows if that would have been true in a couple years.

2 years/$10M for Hicks. I would've been tempted to match that, and maybe pay for it by releasing
more deadwood, e.g. Cannonfodder.
