Last year, last week, yesterday all don't matter. Momentum is a myth. There are no points added or taken away from the scoreboard by expectations of what you should or should not do today

If you play better, execute better, have more people going their job, make fewer mistakes, and you put yourself in position to win against anybody. If you don't do those things, you put yourself in position to lose against anybody.

Also today doesn't matter in the next game, because on that day the same factors are involved.

Don't cry about what you don't have, what a bad break you got, because it is what it is. Play with what you have, and if everyone does their job then we will be in a position to win.

Now we have two weeks to get better and determine just whom is not doing their job and if someone else can do their job better.

Victories are not cheap, they are hard, every one of them has to be earned by superior effort and execution.

Please, you're embarrasing most posters here by thinking before you start a thread.
Good thoughts.

Great thread, well stated, and I'm 100% with you. Glad he has 2 weeks to figure out what went wrong physically and mentally and prepare for San Francisco.

I'm not saying that today wasn't a huge disappointment, and that all of the problems are easily fixable.

It's just that one horrible game isn't the end of the season or the end of the end of the world for that matter.

The sky didn't fall the year the Bills spanked us 31-0 on opening day either.
