Day 3 - First Two Picks

TE- Wiley, Saders or Theo Johnson
RB- Kimani Vidal, Dylan Laube, Jaylen Wright, Ray Davis, B. Allen, Guerendo or Estime

WR- Malik Washington, Javon Baker

I like all 5 DBs and Dorlus. Would pass on Theo Johnson. Of the RBs, only Wright impresses me, though Guerendo's speed is tempting. Javon Baker is... like all our current receivers but I'd take him anyway. Sanders would be a good TE pick.

I have no idea why Leonard Taylor isn't included as a top DL prospect. He should be.

Beau Brade and Sione Vaki are very Marte Mapu-ish.

Look for CBs Kalen King and Jaylin Simpson to convert to FS.

One thing Belichick said on Thursday night is that he was impressed by Kalen King as a DB (he made it as an offhand comment when assessing Marvin Harrison Jr.)

Not being Johnny Raincloud, but we’re likely gonna pick someone not mentioned yet. It’s just the way it is. I like the May and Polk pick. Wallace was a little bit of a head scratcher but hopefully he can play LT. If that fails the future OL could be:

LT: 2025 pick
LG: Sow
C: Strange
RG: Onwenu
RT: Wallace

* Saw a few predraft scouting reports of Strange possibly at C

What happened to Andrews?

Strange isn't a C. He tried out there and didn't do an amazing job.

Now there's a plan. Have different players at every line position.

All 3 are on my board and I really think Sanders is in play next up. Franklin might be a little redundant with TT, Polk, Bourne but I wouldn't complain. I think we're looking hard at Sanders though.
Sanders is who I am looking for and a Free Safety
Do you like and what round for Laube

I'm fairly shocked here. They didn't like TJ Tampa even though they have a need.

Um, Jake Andrews, Mike Onwenu, Sidy Sow, Atonio Mafi, and we go guard again. With Javon Baker and others still available?

It looks like we are moving on from Cole Strange because of injury...

UNLESS they are moving Strange to LT

This doesn't make sense to me.

Sow, Mafi, Strange, Andrews... what?

I though Sanders might be our next pick so not surprised he went here. I would gonafter Laube anytime now, value makes sense at this point.

The odd man out is Mafi. Robinson is Sow's backup. But, yes, he could eventually start, with Sow moving to LG.

Hmmm, I'm thinking Onwenu is moving to RG.

By mid year.

I have to think Wallace is our RT.

Geez that's tough paying a guard 19 million a year. Thankfully it shouldn't be an issue for a while.

Well, we have the cap room. Just think, Thuney signed for $18m+ 3 years ago. It's the going rate for the top ones.
