Watching the game a second time around, I paid closer attention to Cunningham. I thought he found himself on the ground a few to many times, but I also liked the potential he showed as a pass rusher. He was beating Carey around the edge pretty frequently, and actually used a nice bull rush on him, as well. With a little more experience, I think he'll be making an impact. Heck, he should have sacked Henne at least twice in that game.
Here's an example of one play in which he should have sacked Henne, or at least earned a penalty on Carey.
At around the 6+ minute mark of the second quarter, on third and 6. Cunningham quickly gets the edge on Carey, who then reaches out and pulls on the back of Cunningham's jersey with one hand, as he grabs Cunningham's face mask with the other, and hold's it. The live shot showed it, and the overhead angle showed it really well. I can't believe the official missed that one. The Dolphins converted that third down via Bess, but it should have been called back.
