How many times does each coach or general manager pitch a hissy fit when they disagree with something on the field? I'm sure Belichick has just as many as everyone else. The only reason his aren't public is because he isn't on the competition committee.

And if "special emphasis" means that the calls were made the way that they are stated in te rulebook then I think it was a very good call on his part to get it cleared up. But he wasn't the only one leading the charge on that issue. The Titans and Rams were also but that point is usually left out for the convenience of some Patriots fans to browbeat the Colts.

Except, Warhorse, that there is no way in HELL that the Colts DBs didn't commit a SINGLE PASS INTERFERENCE or ILLEGAL CONTACT Penalty last year. Yet, they never had one called against them, except maybe in the play-offs? The Colt DBs aren't that good.

Well if they didn't call them then they must not have happened, right? That's what a lot of Patriots fans were saying after that playoff game. You can't have it both ways.
