This is a funny discussion. As if he's Public Enemy No. 1 who went around shooting people's dogs. I also am out on Mac personally, but at least willing to wait and see if this new regime finds any value in keeping him around. We need to trust their judgment.

Yeah I think there’s a snowball’s chance in hell that he is starting in NE in 2024, but there’s no harm keeping him right now. Cutting him just incurs a dead money hit equal to his salary anyway. Let him stick around and see what happens. If he proves he’s not as much of a drag as Bill made him out to be, and if he takes well to the new culture, then he will get some positive press and either raise his trade value or perhaps even be a backup here if he’s willing.

Mac has shown when things get tough he goes outside the team with his complaints and issues and folds like a lawn chair under pressure.
