Good riddance BUT I’m not sure Yates is technically correct. My understanding is that when he left when he did, his contract actually tolled.

Meaning, he would have been under contract with NE for this coming year.

I don't know why we wanted him after the way it ended in Pittsburgh.

There weren't great options in free agency last year, but after we signed Chuks, we passed on everyone else, like, "No thanks, we're all set with Chuks!"
