Yeah, there's going to be just too many other veteran quarterbacks (Matt Hasselback, Gus Ferrotte, Garcia, Favre) on the market for a team to justify giving up two 1s to sign Cassel when they could get a suitable QB for no picks and an okay amount of money.
So, yeah, it'd be nice to sit back and make someone give up the two 1s, it just isn't going to happen.
But, considering what we got Cassel for and how he performed this last year when we really needed him, anything that we get for his has to be looked at as pure profit.
