I think that article is cherrypicking stats. There are too many variables to isolate three separate years like that. What if the guys who got 800, 800, 800 in the previous 3 years (Moss's average is about 800) went on to produce big numbers at the age of 30? It seems to me they are looking at his last season (500 yards) and drawing conclusions. for most players, going downhill with 500 yards is a sure sign of the diminishment of skills so it's no surprise that they don't produce after 30. But Randy's year was a product of being a Raider.

Did the article take into account that Moss played on the worst offense in the history of football?
"Well, he only caught 3 touchdowns."
Well that is also one-forth of all the touchdowns that the Raiders scored this year.
He wasn't the red-zone threat he once was because they were never in the red zone.
