Hmmm clam chowder? Manhattan or New England style Ocho?

The chowder thing sounds like a bit of a stretch. But, I hope Chad is coming here. For you naysayers, if its 4th and like 10 down by 7 in the playoffs 4th quarter who do you want Brady throwing to, Tate or Chad? I don't like the he'll block youth argument. Chad could be the difference between a championship and a 1st round exit. If Tate is better let him prove it in camp.

Ochocinco coming to the Patriots to babysit Haynesworth ... I think this is the idea. :idea2: ...

Now we just have to bring back Moss and along with Johnson and Haynesworth

Ocho going to eat clam chowder

Ochocinco hints he’s heading to the Patriots

Albert Haynesworth may not be the only new arrival in New England this week.

Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco is dropping hints that he’ll be a Patriot. And he’s dropping the hints in a most unusual way.

James Shively (@JC_Shively) of Cincinnati has a Twitter page. Earlier today, he complained about persistent rumors and reports that Ochocinco will be cut.

Wrote Shively: “So much 4 @ochocinco getting cut by the #Bengals… Media dont know squat. Always tryin 2 stir drama up.”

Shively received a “direct message” from Ochocinco. Said Ochocinco: “Media knows nothing but I’m going to enjoy clam chowder.” (We’ve seen the screen shot of the message.)

For those of you who are still using far lamer social media like Facebook and MySpace, a “direct message” is a device for sending a message to only one follower. Ochocinco would have known about Shively’s comment because users can see at any time a list of all tweets in which their Twitter name (in this case, @ochocinco) is mentioned.

For example, Ochocinco doesn’t follow the PFT Twitter page, but he routinely to reacts to tweets in which we mention him, often with a threat to “whoop [my] *****.”

We don’t put any more stock in this one than we do in the fact that, on Wednesday, someone with the Eagles listed “Rodgers-Cromartie” among the various players whose jersey could be ordered via the online store.

Im hearing more and more chatter about Ocho changing his name to Johnson too. He said he'd only do that if he was coming to play with Belichick.

Actually he just straight up said he was changing it back after the season. Didn't mention anything about BB.

If Ochocinco comes here, what number is Hernandez going to wear?

lots of talk on his twitter page about bengals and pats

85.

(Or 81 like he wore in college, but why would he change after a lot of people probably have a Hernandez 85 jersey?)

Felger's source says that OchoCinco to the Pats is a done deal.

I actually like this. He isn't the OchoCinco that can put up 1400 yards and 8-9 TDs, but he is still a good WR. Not elite or even great. He still is capable of getting 1,000 yards. He fits into the Pats system well because he is smart, a terrific route runner, and can fight for the ball.

Is there a link?

I was never big on Ochocinco coming here, but he genuinely likes this team and especially the coach. Having TB is also quite an upgrade from Palmer.

If this is truly a done deal, I think I'm happy with it. I never saw him to be a problem, he's just a talker. We can handle them fine, and he's high character and doesn't seem to quit.

Maybe Chad will be Ocho Uno instead
