CBs will it be friends covering friends?

Thought it was interesting that Logan Ryan and Sanu were roommates in college, since it seems there's a good chance Ryan might end up covering him on Sunday. Then I saw a report about how Butler and Gabriel got acquainted playing against each other in college and then became friends playing together in the 2014 Medal of Honor Bowl game.

Makes me wonder, who has the advantage from being well acquainted like that, is it the WR or the CB?
