Cap Question for Miguel

I am trying to put together my mock offseason and have a question. If the Patriots wait until after the regular season starts to extend Collins and Butler would it impact the 2016 cap at all?

It matters only if the extension occurs late in the regular season AND their 2016 salaries are also increased. If both are true, the increased salary would be treated as a signing bonus.
