Very true.

But what I wouldn't give for a Pats' blowout that would bore and infuriate 90% of the country.
In that case, it would be interesting and entertaining to see if we could get our point differential in the Super Bowl positive [need +45]

And a blowout would be much better for our health and blood pressure. I'd like to watch one Patriots Superbowl without wondering how they will win or lose in the final seconds. I remember watching the game that shall not be mentioned and saying when the Patriots scored that they had left too much time and unfortunately I was right.

I have a vivid memory of my oldest son saying the exact same thing, only that was after the Rams scored to tie it in 2001. He was right too.

I've always been a fan of blowouts by my team. There's nothing better than the relaxing feeling I get when watching my team win going away, especially against the crybabies and loudmouths.

They should want the Patriots in every Superbowl because they have all been exciting right to the last minute.
Thinking about it, it's astounding how many Patriots' Super Bowls are a thing of inches. Especially XLII, XLVI and XLIX since those were win or lose situations (and not Win or OT like in XXXVI and XXXVIII). In all three aformentioned games the Patriots fell victim to some of the most incredible plays in Super Bowl history, the Helmet Catch, Manningham's sideline catch and the Kearse catch. And in both Giants Super Bowls the Patriots narrowly missed out on the big play to respond, those hail mary throws by Brady at the end were as close as it could get. In XLII the ball touch Moss' fingertips while in XLVI Gronk nearly got under the deflected ball.

Holy F I forgot how bad Madden and Summerall were. One of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history and you say with a monotone voice "and it's right down the pipe"

Ugh.
