Was watching NFLN they were having the round table discussion they have with Deion, Marshall, Irvin, and Mooch. They were discussing the Patriots offense and Deion was like: I gotta call from Darius Butler and said that Joey Galloway was the fastest person he's ever seen.

Makes you think was this offense could do once Galloway gets on the same page as Brady....

I think you mean "IF Galloway and Brady can get on the same page."

That being said, with Brady never having had a receiver as fast as Galloway, Brady also needs to either adjust his timing or have Galloway adjust the routs and Brady the throws on the routes...

.......granted he was a stiff, but Bethel Johnson was faster than Galloway and I'll bet Meion, was faster, also

what happened exactly?

Brandon's rookie year I guess he was going up against Welker in one on one drills in training camp, Brandon was getting beat and after practice Brandon says something like Welkers the best slot receiver in the game or something close to that. Anyways BB gets on Brandon afterwords pretty much telling him to keep his mouth shut cause he's a rookie that does not no squat.

Well in fairness to Butler - he is just saying he is the fastest player he has EVER SEEN. Not that he is the best in the NFL or anything like that. The best basketball player I ever played with was Raymond Blackwell - who only had a cup of coffee in the NBA. I can see he is the best athlete I ever balled with - and that's totally accurate.

Pete

Yep. It's amazing what happens when you actually take the time to read what was said.

Dude has also seen Randy Moss....so that says a lot about Galloway's speed...which has also not been a secret for the last 15 years.

Thanks for the update, Darius.... though. AND since Galloway also played when Deion played, shouldn't he also know this?

At times that roundtable was like "Battle of the morons"...worth a watch to laugh at.

watch Michael Irvin's AFC East prediction to see what I'm talking about....

There's no doubting it says something about Galloway's speed.

Raymond Blackwell? He was made of glass.

His rookie year, Meriweather told someone in the press that Welker was 'one of the best slot receivers in the NFL'. The next day, at a team meeting, Belichick said "what the **** do you know about the NFL?", putting him in his place.

CJ ran 4.3. Parcells used to say the bus stop is full of fast guys who can't play. For all his speed, Galloway has shown little to date. I hope he improves, but I will judge by what I see.

Deion was faster than Galloway, Bethel was fast not nearly as fast as Galloway.
