Over react ... your opinion.

Mine is that children have access to the internet ... and he has contributed to the porn on the web.

You call that over reaction then so be it.

Has Vince Wilfork, Tom Brady or Tedy Bruschi ever whacked off on the web?

For all we know the might have!

If you are a smart parent you put in web filters(there are free ones on the internet) on your computer and block porn. Porn is not illegal on the internet. They were both of consenting age, no rape was involved. Honestly I have been on many other football sites and the only one that is making a big deal out of this is this board.

Kraft can do what he wants.

But if Goodell decided to ban players from engaging in a side career of porn, in which no laws were broken or alleged to be broken than I can GUARANTEE the Union would have a problem with it.

It's my understanding that the NFLPA has agreed to the NFL's PCP. No?

On the flip side, I don't think the NFLPA wants their members in a shady business like porn.

Not to get into a parenting debate, but if you allow your children unfettered access to the internet, you have no one to blame but yourself for what they're exposed to.

You can control only what goes on in your own home ... kids have friends.

So it's okay if you have young kids who can access the internet to see Spikes spanking it?

he wears a uniform that is supposed to have some bit of honor to it. A uniform that is used to raise money for charities. It brings shame to the uniform IMO ... if I were Kraft I'd dump him in a heartbeat.

BTW ... he looks wasted ... have you watched it ... perhaps you should.

So then the Pats should drop Faulk, Brady, Moss, and fire BB. They all have brought shame to the uniform.

There's a big difference.

OJ Simpson is no John Holmes

One has not been found guilty of a crime, while the other engages in activity that is not criminal.

Two different things.

But that is neither here nor there with respect to the point I am making. Goodell is obviously interested in regulating both types of activities inasmuch as he is able and inasmuch as either activity affects or potentially affects the league's image. This is why he is having Spikes in for a stern lecture. If this distinction were relevant to the league, Spikes would be getting a free pass, wouldn't he?

That is not an excuse to restrict someone's livelihood for doing something YOU have a moral disapproval of, simply because you can't watch your child 24 hours a day.

They intentionally allowed their porn on the internet?

Please ... stop reaching.

There is a huge difference between he made a movie for personal enjoyment and he made a movie for public consumption ... that's a massive difference.

If he were a Jet your opinion would be the same?

you're changing the dynamics of the discussion now. As I said there is a huge difference between making something for personal enjoyment and putting something out there for public consumption. You put something on the web and you have to know it can be accessed by everyone with access.

That is not responsible and he made the mistake and I have no problem that he will pay for it. It's not hard to live a relatively clean life ... most people do it everyday.

They all had morally questionable situations appear in their life. Faulk was caught with weed (and suspended for it, but that's an ILLEGAL activity). Brady had a child out of wedlock. BB allegedly cheated on his wife. What will you tell your children about these monsters? That these things are ok?

And I don't think Cromartie should be suspended for his personal transgression which are FAR more disgusting than what Spikes did. There, stop trying to make it a laundry issue.

A bit off topic, but I have a theory that Internet porn has been a major reason for the decline by Americans (specifically males) in knowledge of geography.

When I was a kid, there was no testing score with greater discrepancy based on gender than geography. With boys test scores vastly exceeding girls scores. Today that gap has closed. Not because of any improvement by the girls but because of a huge drop by the boys down to the girls level.

Here is why I think that occurred. When I was in middle school if I wanted to see a pair of naked tits, my only option was to go to the library and pursue a copy of National Geographic. More often than not, I didn't just look at the pictures but also read the articles. (They were well written and quite interesting, not as interesting as the pictures but more interesting then the assigned readings in school.) I learned a lot about the world thru from this endeavor.

With the readily access kids have to porn on the Internet their no longer exist any reason to go hunting for a National Geographic to see a pair of naked tits. Hence the decline in males knowledge of geography.

My opinion would be the same no matter what, I think this is such a minor incident that nothing further needs to be said about it. Once again Porn is not illegal and he did nothing wrong.

BB cheated on his wife(much more morally wrong than porn imo)
Faulk had pot on him(illegal)
Moss while not in a Pats uni hit a police officer with his car

We're talking about porn Sicilian.

Faulk's weed was his personal problem.

Brady's decision to have a child could have been intentional ... we don't know.

Spikes saw nothing wrong with putting his porn on the web for all to see.

what would I tell my kids ... I'd tell them he's a piece of sh!t.
If it costs the Patriots a few games for dumping him so be it.

So, all things that kids aren't old enough to see/do should be outlawed because potentially kids could get their hands on them before they're of age. Got it. Cigarettes shouldn't be sold in stores because kids can bum them off of older kids. Alcohol shouldn't be produced because once it's out of the brewery, kids can take it from their parents while they're away. It's NOT the parents responsibility to watch their own kids, because it could just happen somewhere else?

The internet is a free exchange of information. Either watch your kids, know who they hang out with, raise them right, or don't complain. It's not Spikes' fault he did something legal you don't approve of personally.

Wait...did I miss the part where porn became illegal? Secondly, he didn't record this, he essentially streamed it to the web, where some jerk decided to record it in an attempt at personal gain. He has NOTHING to be sorry for. Was it a well thought out action, probably not. But it's not like he bent this woman over a dinner table in a restaurant. If you don't want to see it, don't watch it. It is not Spikes' responcibility to make sure your kids can't watch porn. And whats the big deal if they do? Lighten up man. Why is it the US is so numb to violence yet so up-tight about nudity and sexuality? A titty-nah, can't have that in a PG-13 flick, but some guy losing it and lighting up a bank full of people is no problemo.

Again, you are arguing from the stance that YOU have a PERSONAL issue with porn. That's fine, that's your opinion. The ludicrous money the industry pulls in would indicate that many people in America and the entire world disagree.

If you have a problem with it, it is YOUR responsibility to protect your children, not the person making the porn. Any parent who allows their child on chatroulette doesn't care what their kid sees, or can't be bothered to educate themselves on the internet.

What did you say to your kids when Belichick cheated on his wife? Is he a piece of **** and should they dump him?

Yes, the NFLPA has agreed to the NFL's PCP. But I seriously doubt the NFLPA envisioned it extending to punishing players for engaging in completely legal behavior on their own time.

If a player was to do a photo shoot for Playgirl would he be kicked out of the NFL? I would hope not.
