Could not find the record for lowest interceptions in a 16 game regular season

8 Interceptions have to be pretty close to the record if not the lowest ever but didn't see anything about it anywhere.

Is it a record?

Doubt that it's a record as you are calculating it. If you calculate the TD to INT ratio, though, that should be a record if the TD number is over 20.

50 to 8 is off the charts into the next universe.

I dont think so.

Besides wouldnt David Garrad (sp?) of Jacksonville be the record holder? Doesnt he have like 1 or 2?

The TD to int ratio is also pretty awesome 50:8, that's a greater than 6:1 ratio!!

Garrard didnt play all 16 games.

Along with TD/Int ratio a meaningful stat would be the Int/pass att. I would guess Brady ranks very well in this measure.

Joe Ferguson threw 1 int in 1976 for the Bills,

In 2004 Chad Pennington threw 18 TDs with 7 Ints
In 2005 Jake Plummer threw 18 TDs with 7 Ints

Pennington's "Great Year" included 7 passes of more than 5 yards.

I never said anything about Chad having a great year.

But yes, despite having Santana Moss, the Jets did not stretch the field that year.

2003 mcnair mvp yr he had 4 picks.......28 tds

you really can't measure that way, b/c although he didn't play every down, least int has to be a team record, and 9 is not the best. Heck 8 is not the best either.
