Brady sweeping nation in ESPN poll

Brady is the obvious choice in that poll ............ Jeter, give me friggen break.

Big Papi and TB, now that actually a pretty gooty match. Pap has a sh!tload of walk off's but still, you got to give it to Tom. Way more pressure on a QB than a DH.

ESPN study shows New York is the dumbest state in the nation:

I'm no Yankees fan but Jeter earned my respect long ago.

It's no surprise to me that he and Brady are good friends - both have similar personalities in respect to their strong drive to win.

The poll has changed. It's now the best NFL matchup this weekend. Pats bolts running away with it.

How can anyone vote for someone who isn't even good enough to make the Pro Bowl?

(tongue planted so firmly in cheek, there is actually some tissue damage!)

Also a "body of work" kind of thing, IMO. Jeter has multiple rings where he was the leader of all the teams. Ortiz is as clutch as they come, but that has only been for the last couple of years here in Boston.
Ortiz clutch: '03, '04, '05, '06.
