Brady handles the pressure - Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston

thought this was funny
Jets coach Rex Ryan admitted he couldn't find a pressure situation that worked consistently Sunday.

"Early, I wanted to bluff them and let them think we were coming, and all that kind of stuff," said Ryan. "And we bluffed ourselves into a 60-yard pass one time, that was a blown coverage.

when the JETS did apply "Pressure"... I was worried. It did not occur early on in the game ,but when it did.... I was worried. I cannot lie..... even despite the WIN. Pats are vulnerable to a prolific pass rush.

That might have something to do with 2 starting o linemen being out and then vollmer getting hurt as well.

The most pressure applied today was to Rex Ryan's belt buckle.

Brady did a much better job today of handling the pressure than he did week 2. The Jets' defensive pressure was quite good in the second half when Vollmer was out. Levoir at LT and Kaczur/Connolly on the right side just wasn't holding up very well. But Brady never got flustered (though 2 delay of game penalties weren't too great), didn't make any critical mistakes, and got rid of the ball several times while running for his life.

Much better job of handling the pressure.

I saw pretty much the same thing as you did. The pressure definitely intensified when Vollmer was out of the game, which shows just how valuable and effective he is. Brady stayed calm back there and didnt get frustrated like he did in week 2, although clearly having Welker was a HUGE advantage over week 2. If Welker had played in week 2, I think we would have won that game.

On a side note has anyone noticed that Brady seems to be a hell of a lot better at scrambling out of a tackle than in pas years? Seems I've seen him shed atleast 2 sure sacks this season.
