I don't know if 'shut down' is the right word for how Light has handled Freeney. Freeney has always gotten to Brady a few times over the span of a game. Light got called for a leg whip on Freeney in 07. Light has done well enough to allow Brady to keep his rhythm even though he's getting hit a lot. I think Vollmer can do that. Seabass stepped in and kept pace with Schobel while BB was putting his foot up Matt...I mean Todd's @$$. That's not to say Schobel is as good or as quick as Freeney, but Schobel tried to put a speed move on Vollmer the two times I saw, and Vollmer had no problem.
Workhorse beat me to it. If the Colts ever got a good DT, their defense would be pretty ridiculous. They were the #1 D in 07 without Freeney at the tail end.
