A handoff can be fairly high impact so makes sense. Also the photo doesn't show all the area around the thumb so it probably does encompass part of the webbing as well. Because the cut we can see is not big enough for 12 stitches. But that's some pretty serious swelling on his thumb.Im still curious to understand how he got the cut. It was reported his thumb bent back severely. Seeing how it's 3-4 week recovery for an open dislocation and that's ruled out, how did he get the cut if it wasn't the helmet?
Is Giselle signaling “1 more game for you Tommy” ? She’s got to relax, he was our guy firstClearly Brady is a speedster like The Flash. Photos can’t even capture his hand still.
What we saw of the hand, during the game and after, with the black bandage on it, made it clear that it was not a knuckle and not the webbing. This is a short, apparently deep, cut, up on the joint where the thumb joins the hand. There's no way to know if there was any bending back of the thumb when it happened.
And wow, is this story a great case study in how speculation and out-loud wondering turns into rumors, which turns into versions of the truth, which turn into facts, which turn into arguments, which turn into a lot of people vehemently defending something which turned out to be wrong, and a lot of wasted of time and energy for everyone.
someone has to tell Burkhead not to run with scissors...didn't we learn that in kindergarten?Yeah, almost looks like something jabbed into it. That is not a crossing laceration but looks like a penetrating one.

I live in NJ so I get privilege to listen to his new show. He is blaming Jaguars and not giving any credit. His cohorts are following his lead. Meanwhile jaguars had best game plan I’ve seen vs pats in years and they played excellent. They made a few mistakes granted but they were turnover free and had 22 first downs.Does Bart Scott still think it’s a built in excuse?
He’s in the process of making a 6th finger.
Heck, Brady himself has now been quoted saying that Wed and Thurs and even into Fri he was worried he wouldn't be able to play today. So it's hardly the much-ado-about-nothing that some people here try to cast it as.
