Brady Bunch Buys $20M NY Condo in Tribecker

I guess they couldn't afford the $30M condo since Tom keeps taking all these pay cuts every year to re-sign Welker.

That's pretty cool.
Tom will Taylor Swiftly dump Giselle to shack up with Jennifer Lawrence, who he will impregnate and leave her to share supermodel Adriana Lima with Edelman. At least, that's what I believe will be the new excuse for people to hate on him.

I only joke this way because I again had to hear from someone that he hates Tom because he left a pregnant Moynahan for Giselle and how dare he. This was coming from a guy who is sleeping with two different girls at the moment.

Lifestyles of the rich and famous.. good for him, live well #12..

Did Gisele gift wrap this birthday present??

my bro works for Robert Stern Architects and was involved in the design of that building.......it's a very nice place

Maybe Bob Kraft wants Tom "closer" to the NFL front office?

I'm sure that the Brady family made this decision based on what they view as their family's best interests...BUT...as an NYC resident, I also see this as more than a little bit "in your face" to Roger Goodell and particularly the League minions on Park Avenue...this is a high profile building that is waaaay out of their range, especially when you consider that it's the Brady'/Bundchen's third property in the city alone and their sixth or so residence in the US and Costa Rica.

Kensil, Nash, Pash and Wells can only dream of being able to afford a place like this.

Good thing the Pats re-did his deal and rather lose the $2.1m he only loses $235k with the suspension.

Now they don't have to settle for the $18m ****hole on Park Ave.

Goody makes $30-40m a year.

Pash pulled in around $7m last year and $12m in 2014.

They aren't hurting. I'm sure Goody could swing that easily.

I think they sold the Time Warner Centrr place and I'm sure the OP was joking but just in case others aren't aware this is further from the NFL offices than the Madison Park place they own by a decent amount.

Goodell could swing it, but not as his third US residence in a major city. The point is that this is a place that Brady and Bundchen will use for no more than a few weeks a year (if for no other reason than they don't want to have to pay NY State and City income taxes)...they have their Brookline and Brentwood manses plus their home in Costa Rica and whatever she owns in Rio.

$20 million for a pied a terre?...not many are in that league and certainly not Roger.

Pash? Yeah, I guess he could join the other wannabe's who clean out their liquidity for the 30% down payment in a building like that where most purchases are "cash" and then pony up for the $5,000+ per month maintenance for all the amenities on top of the $14 million mortgage.

I must be inebriated.

I glanced at the thread title and thought it said that Tom Brady bought a $20M condom.

they sold the brentwood estate a couple of years ago to dr. dre for $40m.

I can walk there from my office. Maybe I'll stop by!

There's now a boardwalk where people walk, run, roller skate and sun directly across West Street. Some serious galleries and Battery Park are close too. That said, it is a bit isolated from the hustle and bustle of the City but easy access to it if they want to indulge.

Good luck to him.

I'm sure it's so he can make it easier to spend time with his son Jack. Brady is a pretty busy guy, but he does try to be there as often as possible.

Correct. Just saying that they could afford it but certainly don't have the kind of cushion TB and Gisele have.

IIRC she makes close to $50m a year and Tom pulls in on average ~$18m including endorsements.

We agree and are probably both showing an undue amount of interest in the finances of these two "rich and famous" folks.

Ms. Bundchen has been making big, big bucks for a long time. Assuming they're invested wisely, they will jointly be billionaires before the end of the decade. I've gotten to know a couple of very rich folks in my business and social life (unfortunately I'm not among them..."sigh"). One of them, the founder of a company whose name you would recognize instantly, told me over a drink that, in his experience, the divide between "rich" (someone like Goodell and, at the lower end, someone like Pash) and "really rich" comes at around $750 million net worth. I asked him why and he said, "that's when you can buy your own Gulfstream and not have to worry about the cost." Then he smiled.
