Nothing but admiration

We should hate this guy, of course. He's got the looks, the money, the fame, the women, the GQ wardrobe and that habit of constantly falling upward.

Thing is, no one hates Brady. No one even dislikes him (save a few hardline Colts fans). You can't. Tom Brady is somehow impossible to hate, somehow a pretty Hollywood jet-setter one minute and a down-to-earth, just-one-of-the-guys, man's man the next.

He somehow has turned being the guy everyone can't stand in high school into the coolest person we wish we knew. Pity the incumbent if he ever decides to run for political office.

Because we all hated Dan Marino.

It's like I always say: You can't hate a rival player that sucks, you only hate the ones that don't.

IE - Why we all dislike Manning so much (that and his TV spots).

I guess that's entirely true. After the 'post-Marino' problems I'm sure they'd kill for him.

Harrington/Culpepper vs Brady? Ha!

And to think, some Dolphins fans were going on and on about how Culpepper was better than Brady before the season got underway. lol

No football fan actually hates Tom Brady, they hate that he doesn't play for their team.

I remember reading a steeler thread after we beat them last year at home, which was like 5 pages of vitriolic Brady "I hope he gets hurt" hatred...then someone was like "he would look so good in black and gold" and everyone was like "*sigh*....yeah......."
