I love his TD throw to Givens in SB39 vs the Eagles. Such a pretty throw while everyone seems to be moving the wrong way.

He wouldn’t need to jump backwards. And it doesn’t matter because he just dropped it. Check out the other angles as it hits his hands.

That’s not alligator arm-ing it, though, which is what you were accusing him of doing. And yes, he would have needed to jump backwards just to get his body in position to high point that ball. He didn’t do it there and the ball still hit him in the hands.

The first throw that came to mind was Edelman 3rd and 14. There's a combination of legitimate desperation and supreme poise in that play, the way he sprints into it and throws it with everything he's ever had and yet he hits him dead center. That throw produces a flood of memories every time I see it.

Yeah I still think he could’ve been more aggressive catching the ball with putting his arms up. You can see him slow down for the ball and it still went over his head. I think he just mistimed it/didn’t think the ball would actually get there.

Was it 2016 he had that last second dart to Mitchell against the 49ers? Was a hell of a play on both ends of I remember correctly.

    Edit:

Right around 2:50. That throw was perfectly placed to not hit the dude in coverage, and Malcolm noticed it just at the right time.

We must have a young board. I’m bummed no one brought up the 82 yard TD to Troy Brown in overtime in 2003 at Miami to break the curse, and it completely changed our season and started the record breaking streak. We hadn’t won in Miami since 97.

A perfect long spiral to brown who was double covered

I'll see if I can find a video but for me it was a TD pass to Gronk in PITT in 2010 (Gronk's 1st of 3 TDs that game).

He had a crazy-small window to make the play and it was perfect.

One that was an incompletion....his deep pass to Moss at the end of SB 42.

In 2005 against Tampa Bay Brady made a crazy good throw while replays showed he was getting facemasked mid throw (his helmet twisted around so he wouldn't even see).

Worth the watch. So many you just forget them all. Warning this video dispels the dink and dunk notion. The one beating Antonio Smith from the Steelers still warms my heart.

I think his velocity was at its peak around 06-07. Man some of those throws were lazors!

As mentioned with video on first page. That Brady to Moss in triple coverage was something special. To that point I always wondered what Brady could do with a special receiver that Montana had and he more than exceeded my expectations and then some. That was the start to something magical.

So many great plays and clutch throws we’ve been privileged to witness over the years.

Speaking of that SB, I still don’t know how the hell Eli got that TD pass to Cruz in between Ihedegbo & Mayo. Perfect pass.

Anyone remember the third down pass he completed while on his rear end against Cincy in 2004

Great video. Very surprised to see how many plays featured Brandin Cooks.
