Brad Marchand ... Ken Linseman redux?

My memory of him ... would be a call now ... is him poking his stick at you from behind, the side ... anywhere. He wouldn't hack you but he would tap everyone and anyone who skated by him with it. He was short already but he would drop down and skate even lower ... he was fun.

Tough to compare directly as Linseman was a center but they are both agitators and they look alike a little bit with the uniform on. Both had tons of energy, quickness and the quick shot.

Good lord ... those 3 as centers and all of them legitimate 1st line centers. that team was so awesome I enjoyed watching them play as much as I enjoyed watching my bruins back then.

When he was here Linseman was my favorite player ... I grew up a small scrappy kid so I have a liking for the smaller scrappy professionals in all sports. Us older fans will never forget Ken ... maybe he shows up at the parade ... I hope we see lots of the older players - the fans would love that.

As far as I've heard, they are working on it. I wouldn't worry too much. Chiarelli just had his day with the cup and is now back and focused in on contract talks. I know they've heated up a bit and a deal will definitely be done by the end of the month..

I also think they did this to teach him a lesson after what he and Tyler did after they won..
