Yeah its been bad for awhile. Last season it started to get sparse and now its practically non-existent. Maybe they know they can't keep up with the Globe so they don't even try or they just don't have the staff to do it since Albert Breer left.

The Jim Donaldson stuff was great. In-game stuff, not so great.

Still the best blogger around is Mike Reiss. He is so much faster than everyone else and gives you the most information out of anyone.

I don't mind a mix of rah-rah and human interest with the solid football analysis, but they don't seem to have any analysis now that Breer is gone. And Shalise Manza Young at projo seems to get closer to the players than what seems like the vast crew of part-timers at the Herald.

OTOH, maybe the Herald is trying out a vast crew to see if someone pops.

Patchick, I know you've liked Tomase (or at least defended him against his detractors) but I haven't seen much of him lately. It's seems like it's the Karen Guregian show over there. She pumps out a lot of material but it lacks that Reiss/Breer/Curran/Tomase type of depth. Any Tomase sightings?

Huh, you're right -- no Tomase bylines in the Herald today! Wonder what's up?

I guess it's no surprise that the Herald blog is lying fallow, with Breer covering the Cowboys and Tomase vaporized.

Breer was solid..had insights...and I remember when many said Tomase was on PAR with Reiss....NO WAY!!!! where are those people now?? (ptobably still at the sox rally 21 hours after......)
