I guess that means he didn't alienate this locker room as he has so many others. He's certainly a useful complementary piece for the offense heading into grind-it-out season. But I'm curious to see who they cut...I'll be very, very surprised if they mothball James White, as many have suggested.

This is great news. Both sides wanted a deal done last year but sadly we were world's apart on what we both wanted out of the deal. By all accounts it was a friendly parting.

He towed the line here despite the character concerns prior to us signing him the first time around and I have no doubt Bill will make him do so again.

It's easy to forget, given how much he's bounced around the league, that Blount is still just 27 years old. (And not a ton of mileage on him, given how much time he's spent suspended and in various coaches' doghouses! )
