Gale Sayers, Adrian Peterson were the other two.

And 334 all purpose yards. Not too shabby...

Well I'll step up and say that the only thing I hated more than him as a RB at the beginning of the year was him as a kick returner...

So yeah. What condiments go well with crow?

Jolokia relish ...

Just call him Miley Cyrus cuz he was a 'wrecking ball' tonight

lame joke, I know

He has a second gear once he hits the hole. Good vision and power.
Got to love his enthusiasm. Great addition to a solid core of running backs .

First player to have 180+ rushing yards and 140+ return yards.

As well as the first patriot to do it and the first player to do it against the buffalo bills.

In all seriousness, I know Blount was brought in to give the Pats a physical runner. We all want the Pats to have 'big boy ball' mentality where they could continuously run and break the spirit of the defense.

THe problem was that early in the year when we tried to go to this style of offense it was ineffective. WE are now seeing it hitting a good flow and I'm loving the results.

That's two weeks in a row when the power running game was showcased beautifully.

Looking through the list of the top all purpose yards ever ...

The player closest in size was Adrian Peterson at 217lbs ...

Most were under 200 lbs and were light.

Wow... the Buffalo Bills are TERRIBLE. Even worse than I thought!

Bad weather ball. There could be three bad weather games including the SB this year.

He's been a different guy in December. Where did that quickness come from!?

But I've been a fan of his consistent "To The 25" kick returns all season long.
When most of the league is starting at the 20, I'll take his low-ceiling 30 yard returns all day long.

Blount, SB MVP with 4 TD's for 320 rushing yards.

On a snowy day in the new Giants stadium.

More importantly, the AFC representative gets the run of the JEST practice facility.

Hope they bring Wilfork and Kelly to plug up all the toilets when they leave.
