We need a package of plays designed to hit the big play against the blitz. It seemed that our only response was to throw it short, which is exactly where the defenders are in a blitz. If the worst thing that can happen when a team blitzes is a 5 yd pass, teams will continue to blitz us to death. Obviously you need time to throw it deep, but, maybe it's time to start working on some fades and other timing patterns down the field in that situation.
