It's no secret that I was a charter member of the Gilbert fan club. :blush:

I doubt the Bears gave up on him lightly, but he really didn't seem like a good fit for their defense to begin with....

Yep, he's not quick twitch, he's power. They tried to use him as an edge rusher, which didn't work out, so they move him inside and expect him to be another Warren Sappy or something.
