Who cares? It's not about whether or not he intended to injure Brady or if it was dirty. It's against the rules and that is why he was fined. It Happens every week to a dozen players with no intention on hurting someone but just hitting the wrong way by accident which can be sometimes hard to control in the moment.

Now everyone who didn't already think so is going to now think that Brady gets special treatment

Who cares. I hope they think the Patriots cheat, I hope they think Brady sucks, I hope they think we get special treatment.

The more they delude themselves, the harder it is for them to accept when the Patriots run roughshod over them.

No he didn't, he broke an NFL rule and one which carries a fine.
