Oh, I thought you meant something more nefarious.

No, no I meant nothing involving evil or serious poor conduct. He has always just struck me as you described him and I believe he thinks he presents as anything but.Oh, I thought you meant something more nefarious.

And took on the Fraudger on the Ray Rice controversy:Bill Simmons will be OK with me if only for the fact that he long ago publicly, and correctly, identified Glen Ordway as a fraud. Kudos to him for that alone. He also earlier on than most others called out his employer at the time, ESPN, for its anti-NE bias.
It's the kind of straight shooting we all say we want but we so rarely see. It ended up costing him a lucrative gig at BSPN.Goodell, if he didn’t know what was on that tape, he’s a liar. I’m just saying it. He is lying. I think that dude is lying, if you put him up on a lie-detector test that guy would fail. For all these people to pretend they didn’t know is such f***ing b***s**t, it really is, it’s such f***ing b***s**t and for him to go in that press conference and pretend otherwise, I was so insulted. I really was.

As for this podcast, I was hoping he would ask Willie what it was like to be on the highest rated TV broadcast of all time (I think) telling the Pats players to "kiss the m*****f******!!!"!!!
Also thought his experiences hanging out with the LA rappers of his time was fascinating.
I'd love it if Willie wrote a biography that covered all the things he covered in the podcast, both on and off the field.
Bill Simmons did a really bad podcast on the topic of: The 25 Greatest Patriots Wins of the Brady-Belichick Era (Ep. 245)
There were errors, and he didn't even do a quick check to make sure it was correct before he did the podcast. It was bad. He got some dates and games wrong.
I cannot stand Orway.Firing him was EEI's best move of the past decade. Too bad they didn't have the brains to stick with it.
Interesting how opinions differ. I thought the podcast was despite some factual errors essentially Patriots Porn and enjoyed it mostly because it made me recall personal memories of those games.

I like Felger more than Ordway for Pete's sake.
I like Ole Shep. Lacks polish and brains but he was geuine and a total fan boyLeave Pete out of this!
[ Ya know, Pete Shepard ex of EEI.... ]
