Who are the 4-5 elite teams that have current SB odds of 10-1 or less?

The SB teams are two, with the colts the favorites. Then come the charges and the patriots (and sometimes the steelers).

The NFL.com "experts", and the popular vote have us at either 10th or 11th best team.

Are you basing this on? a ******ed Vegas line who at this time has NO idea of what any team will do in the offseason?

At this time the Pats are far from an Elite team....a good team? certainly but not Elite

Vegas lines are more about who they anticipate will be bet on the most. The Patriots still have recent name recognition as being a top team, thus many casual fans will bet on them.

It has very little to do with who the elite teams are and who people have faith in.

Everyone is free to continue to quote media folks and post their own opinions. Some folks back their opinions with putting their money on the line. Current lines are NOT about who will bet on the patriots in the future. It is all about who is betting on the patriots NOW. And just BTW, it is the New York teams have traditionally been overrated by bettors since there is such a large following for New York teams.

I suggest that those who know so much more than the bettors might consider a profession as professional gamblers. Anyone who is MUCH better than the lines can make a great living.

But then, we don't need any reason. We just need to believe that we know better than anyone.
