That was exactly the type of answer I was expecting before I even watched the video.

BB shouldn't be commenting about the Brady decision nor should Brady. Put it in the past and move forward, let the lawyers handle the appeal

If not for the "Good" part, he totally brushed that question aside.

BB unfazed as usual. He's a master at escaping HYPE... by using flat words like "good" or re-directing the question to make it more pertinent.

Anyone bothered by Belichick being a little too emotionally distant from this whole situation?

I'm a little disappointed that he isn't celebrating with the fans, but I know he has a job to do

He seemed pretty jubilant answering that question. Well, at least for BB standards.

No i am happy with how he is handling it. He knows what he has to do for the benefit of the team.

Man, that's even colder than I expected. I would have thought we'd get a "he's a good player" or something!

Nope. That is BB not feeding the media machine. They had a game to play and there's a season about to start….he is not about to start off by giving the media the big headlines he knows they want. He is steadfast and nothing rattles him and that should make us all very happy.

BB had Ernie Adams run the metrics and came out with a 99.37% Brady winning and is basically saying, they (NFL*) are who we expected them to be.

Fortunately, BB didn't get distracted wondering why Ernie came up with a .63% chance of the NFL winning.

Anyone expecting:

Were moving on to Pittsburgh...

Amazing that Steve Burton managed to ask consecutive questions that did not start with "How big . . . ." His interviewing "skills" may have finally turned a corner!

Nah. What counts is the message he delivers in the Locker Room when it's just him and the team. I think the he knows how to deliver the R E S P E C T message better than anyone.
