BB's quote of the day ?

Oh, BB. You are totally awesome.

I like this better:

"BB: I have confidence in everybody on the team. That’s why they’re on the team.

Q: He’s a little better than most, though.

BB: Yeah, he does his job well, but everybody that’s out there…look, when you put them out there in a game like this, you better have confidence in them. Every play is a big play. Every block is important. Every tackle is important. Every coverage is important. Every catch is important. Everything is important, so if you don’t have confidence in a player at this point, you can’t put them out there. I know all you care about is the guy that throws the ball and the guy that catches it, but there are a lot of guys that block. There are a lot of guys that play defense. There are a lot of guys that play in the kicking game. I’m just saying that every one of them that’s on the field, you’ve got to have confidence in every single one [to] put them out here in a situation like this."

Welcome back to 2001.

Three somewhat surprising notes on the captains:

1. They're NOT just elected. BB pretty much selected Crumpler, with only the other captains and Crumpler himself consulted.

2. Kevin Faulk was cited as a "hard-working" captain.

3. BB praised all the captains for, I guess, their leadership all week.

BB was wearing pink shoes? Damn I really missed out, I hate my job no work on sunday needs to come back(well unless your stadium maintenance).

Reebok Zigtech, white with pink soles.

"It is what it was"

Q: When you evaluate Deion Branch’s array of skills, what do you think are the best two or three?

BB: He can get open and catch the ball. Don’t make it too complicated.

Wouldn't you love to hear a conversation between BB and Yogi Berra? That would be memorable in so many ways. :rocker:

The NFL has initiated Hug-Gate ... there was some pelvic thrust on the branch hug.

When asked Bill simply replied that doesn't everyone do the Humpty-Hump when they are happy?

I love the shoes, but Forehead Manning advertises them so I couldn't buy them if I saw them over here!

'Smarter than the average coach!'

Welcome back to 2001.

Watching that considered, fundamental response live was energizing. As one of the few who felt that the 2007 season was going to end badly, I am thrilled to see this team return to the philosophy that won championships rather than seting stats records.
